In collaboration with Bipolar Studio, we had the privilege of playing a pivotal role in the production of a latest commercial for the Aston Martin Vantage, starring Formula One legend, Fernando Alonso. This project was a testament to our team’s dedication and expertise, as we bridged creativity and technology to bring this vision to life.
From the initial storyboard to the final delivery, our team was hands-on. We were tasked with establishing a robust color pipeline that met the industry standards, ensuring that every frame of the commercial resonated with the luxury and excitement synonymous with the Aston Martin brand. We took charge of the on-set processes, ensuring that each shot was captured, laying a solid foundation for post-production.
We delved deep into compositing and look development, crafting visual experiences that were as thrilling as the ride of the Vantage itself.
Spice Vision partnered with Bipolar Studio to help bring Aston Martin’s Vantage campaign to life—overseeing the visual effects pipeline from concept through delivery. Our supervisor helped establish the color pipeline and managed the ingest and color workflow for live-action plates. We led the look development of both the environments and the car itself, ensuring every detail met the brand’s premium aesthetic. From early creative planning to final shot delivery, Spice Vision was closely involved in the integration and execution of all visual effects across the campaign.
The core visual concept of the campaign centered around the transformation of the new Aston Martin Vantage—from blueprint to fully formed performance machine. We helped develop and execute the look of this transition sequence: starting with invisible outlines, evolving into semi-transparent structures that reveal the internal components, and ultimately materializing into the final, fully rendered car.
